It’s a bad time to be a fish. Especially if there’s someone in a new iATAK 110 inflatable fishing kayak from Wilderness Systems paddling above you. Designed and tailored for serious anglers, the iATAK 110 provides a high performance fishing experience in a lightweight and portable watercraft that rolls up afterward for easy storage back home.

To make it shine, its design team employed high-pressure dropstitch technology (think SUPs) for durability and hardshell-like performance. Anglers will find it ultra stable, sitting or standing, we well as maneuverable for chasing hard-to-catch fish thanks to its rigidity.

“When it came to adding all the features anglers need, we prioritized both what was needed and where to place it so that fishing from it is easier and comfortable,” says inflatables and accessories director Jean-Sebastien Belanger, touting its storage options and other customizable features. “Everything was intelligently designed with the fishing experience in mind.”

The iATAK 110 drop stitch kayak delivers the conveniences of inflatable kayaks with the rigidity and performance of hardshell kayaks, through patented fishbone technology optimizing speed and tracking  to get to your fishing spot. With the aluminum accessory rail and integrated universal accessory mounts, you can customize and place your kayak fishing accessories at an easy reach. Enjoy the comfort of the ErgoBoost Seat, when folded turns into a booster seat making it easy to sit or stand while casting. When the day is done, towel dry, deflate , and roll up into the included backpack for easy transport and storage.  *Patent Pending / Industrial Design Pending

Wilderness Systems iATAKThe company also designed it with portability in mind. “We created the iATAK in response to a growing need within the fishing community for a portable yet high-performance kayak that could rival traditional hard-shell options,” Belanger adds. “Existing IKs often fell short of meeting the specific requirements of serious anglers, but they’re fantastic for portability—you can bring them to places that are inaccessible with hard-shells, like hidden spots and remote fishing locations.” The design, he adds, focuses on giving anglers a reliable and adaptable platform for pursuing their passion, with the convenience of inflatable technology.

Need proof on how it’s been received? Look no further than its pro team, which is finding it hard to get back in the office. “It’s been widely embraced by the angling community,” Belanger says. “People especially like how its stability and durability hold up similarly to traditional hard-shell kayaks. And our Wilderness Systems pro team has also given it a big thumbs-up. And they’ve been having a blast creating YouTube videos showing it in action.”

Other features include four carrying handles for effortless transportation by multiple individuals to and from the water; convenient bow deck bungee straps ensure quick and easy access to your gear; accessory rail, allows for the attachment of a wide range of accessories, enhancing your kayak’s versatility; and an Ergoboost seating system, offering ore comfort, more height, more range of movement – all in one folding seat.
