The Teva Mountain Games in Vail Colorado have started off much like last weekend at the Paddling Life Pro Invitational in Steamboat Springs, where Sutton also won the creek event. He used the same form to storm to the podium at the Bud Light Lime Steep Creep Championship presented by Thule on 100 cfs at Homestake Creek on Thursday, June 3rd.
Further supporting the same lattitude, Tanya Faux of Australia, even after coming off the flu, took 1st in the women’s race.
The Teva Mountain Games continue all weekend. Read on for more information and a preview of Friday’s events.
