It will also be the opening of a historical kayak exhibit put together by Kent Ford.
Talks will also be given by Mildred “Millie” Davis Miller, who, as a teenager, was one of the earliest females to run the Green and Colorado River’s in the early 1950s; Linda “Big Linda” Wittkopf, known for running Cataract Canyon during the huge whitewater of the early 1980s; The Emerald Mile author Kevin Fedarko, who, along with Michele Grua will present Kenton Grua, one of the three record run boaters of the Grand, for induction into the River Runners HOF. And the Emerald Mile boat will be present to view.
