Thankfully, the sharks weren’t interested in their bait. Nevertheless, two fish kayakers about a mile offshore in Northern California’s Half Moon Bay got a scare recently when they came within feet of two great white sharks, which followed them in their boats.
The two were heading out for a day paddle fishing when they encountered the sharks, knowing they were in one of the “sharkiest” areas of the state. While one was apparently stalked, the other happened to grab his phone and video the scene.
