It’s a grand ol’ flag, it’s a high-flying flag…That’s the tune being sung by Old Town Canoe, which recently released a limited edition Old Glory colorway for its  Old Town Ocean Kayak Caper kayak. Daring consumers to “Declare your independence from boring kayak colors with this bold red, white, and blue colorway,” the Old Glory colorway is available in the Caper kayak only, with a limited run being produced. It also includes a complimentary accessory package with a day tripper, two-piece paddle and Outfitter Universal PFD.

The compact, stable, and easy to maneuver sit-on-top kayak is at home in ocean swells and on flatwater, and now at home on any 4th of July parade as well. The Caper comes fully equipped for all-day on-water comfort and features Comfort Plus seat back, molded-in foot wells, self-bailing scupper holes, and a roomy open cockpit. The large bow hatch, grab-and-go carry handles, flush mount rod holders, and built-in paddle holder ensure the kayak is well equipped and easy to transport.
