Old Town is going new school. The 125-year-old paddle craft company is touting a slew of new products heading into 2025, unveiling a fleet of new watercraft for anglers and recreational kayakers. Two new lines highlight the offerings: the Sportsman Line is going PRO with two new models, the PDL 120 PRO & ePDL+ 120 PRO, designed for anglers who need customization and propulsion flexibility; and for rec users, come three new sit-on-tops to the Ocean Kayak Line.

“For over 125 years, Old Town has focused on product innovations that reflect customers’ preferred ways of spending time on the water,” says Ally Spaight, Senior Integrated Marketing Manager at Johnson Outdoors. “A steady rise in kayak fishing and outdoor recreation popularity continues to catapult the brand’s dedication to kayak innovation for on-water enthusiasts.”

The new 12-foot Sportsman Line offerings are based on the line’s most popular platform, a result of feedback from consumers, product engineers, and pro staff. The hallmark of the new Sportsman PDL 120 PRO and ePDL+ 120 PRO is the overhauled watercraft interior to maximize functionality, offer customization options, enhance storage, and boost interior space while maintaining the existing PDL 120 footprint. Both PRO models are available in two exclusive new colors: Sierra and Storm. For anglers seeking propulsion flexibility, the ePDL+ 120 PRO features manual pedal, power-assisted pedal, and fully motorized cruise control options, and comes internally wired with kill switches, and includes a 36V 20AH lithium-ion battery and charger.
