Jackson Kayak announced that longtime brand manager Jameson Redding will be leaving his role as Brand Manager for the company’s kayak fishing line to take over his family’s commercial fencing operation.
“Jackson Kayak has been my home for over a decade and I have learned so much during my time here,” he says in a release, adding he will remain a part of the Jackson Fishing Team and will continue to make his television show “Road Trip Angler. ”Stepping down from this position is one of the hardest decisions I have made in my career, but I know that I am leaving with an amazing team in place and a bright future.” He adds that he will continue to consult on the future of the Jackson Fishing line.
“We wish Jameson all the best and have nothing but respect as he steps away from the Brand Manager position and on to new adventures,” says Jackson Kayak’s Emily Jackson. “His legacy will be felt for many years to come. We have always felt that family comes first, and Jameson embodies that.”
