Fluid, U.S. Distributor Part Ways

-

- Advertisment -

Effective immediately, Go Big Distribution will no longer distribute Fluid Kayaks in the U.S. market.

Due to increased financial difficulties and production issues, Fluid Kayaks has been unable to fill orders. Over the past three years Go Big Distribution has expanded and developed the Fluid brand in the
U.S. market.

Production of Fluid whitewater kayaks moved to Canada in early 2007 to improve distribution times and relieve the increasing issues with manufacturing in South Africa. Due to low production quantities and
quality with the Canadian production plant, all Fluid whitewater kayak manufacturing will be returning to South Africa in early August, according to Go Big’s Bryon Dorr.

Fluid Kayaks will be attending OR, but Go Big Distribution will not be attending or representing the company. Fluid does not plan to develop
a new product for the 2008 season. The new boats proposed for 2007 (S Spice, M Solo, S/M/L Nemesis, M Element) are the new boats for 2008.
