Confluence Watersports is now operating in full from its new campus in Greenville, S.C., and recently announced four key new hires supporting Confluence’s sourcing and supply chain, marketing and accessories teams. All four new hire investments underscore Confluence’s commitment to offering innovation, leadership and a profitable partnership opportunity to its family of specialty outdoor and paddlesports retailers.

Confluence welcomes Jack Coletti, Ansel Bivens, Deanna Knox, Tracy Waldroup and Jonda Mason to its team. Coletti, Bivens and Knox are the newest members of the Confluence supply chain team. Under new leadership in 2011, the team was refocused to ensure Confluence sourcing and purchasing platforms are responsive and adaptable for continuous improvement, cost effectiveness, quality enhancement and on-time delivery.

Jack Coletti is the manager of strategic sourcing, responsible for sourcing purchased parts for all Confluence kayak and canoe brands. Coletti will lead the on-going process of building long-term sourcing partnerships for Confluence. This will enable the company to continue to innovate while ensuring on-time deliveries to its valued retail partners. Coletti brings a wealth of purchasing experience from top companies in the automotive industry.

Bivens is senior buyer for the boat category and will handle tactical execution of the purchasing plan for resins, injection molded parts and outfitting systems. He brings over 26 years of purchasing experience with Fortune 500 companies and niche, regional brands.

Knox, the senior buyer for the accessories division, will execute the purchasing plan for all components and finished goods supporting this growing segment of the company’s business. Prior to joining Confluence, she held planning and procurement management positions at Simplicity Creative Group and Conso International.

New to the marketing team is Tracy Waldroup, in the role of marketing communications manager for Wilderness Systems, Perception, Perception Sport and Adventure Technology. Waldroup brings her passion for being on the water and seeking adventures with over a decade of events management, public relations, advertising and marketing experience to her new role.

In addition, Jessica Wessinger Prescott, who joined the marketing team in March 2010, has been promoted to marketing communications manager with responsibilities for Dagger, Wave Sport, Bomber Gear, Mad River and Harmony.

Lastly, the Confluence accessories division welcomes Jonda Mason to its growing ranks. Mason is a product manager for Harmony accessories. Mason comes to Confluence as a seasoned product manager, having honed her skills at brands including Chinet, High Liner seafood and Nestle, in its pet division.

“We’re pleased to have such an infusion of skill and experience join our already talented team,” said Sue Rechner, CEO of Confluence Watersports. “As we grow, we remain steadfast in our commitment to provide the best quality, most innovative boats and gear, with the highest levels of service. Our new team members have the professional backgrounds to support our goals, but moreover, they have the creativity and vision to contribute to the growth and success of the paddlesports industry.”
