Confluence Watersports has strengthened its engineering team, Harmony accessory team, and customer service team with three, key new hires in the first quarter, 2009. Chris Erdahl has been hired as product engineer. Chris Pedrick has been promoted to senior customer service lead; and Adam Ott has been promoted to assistant product manager for the Harmony brand.

Individually, and in collaboration with all sectors, the three men will have direct and positive influence over the Confluence commitment to the highest standards in quality and customer service, as well as clarity of brand definition.

Erdahl is a key member of the Product Development and Engineering department. He works closely with the design team on concept realization, manufacturing and costing solutions. His influence will be noted across all of the Confluence brands. Most recently, he was with Parametric Solutions as a mechanical engineer, designing and optimizing turbine engine mechanisms and components. Erdahl is a lifelong paddler and recently was a kayak instructor with the Nantahala Outdoor Center in North Carolina.

With his promotion to senior customer service lead for all brands, Pedrick rounds out his experience with Confluence, having worked as an assembler, customer service representative and general manager of Keepers Products. His comprehensive understanding of the paddling industry is subsidized by his years in specialty retail, and is invaluable to understanding the needs of our stakeholders and building the most responsive and solution-oriented customer service team in the industry.

Adam Ott has worked with Confluence for four years, most recently as the director of customer service. He has transferred into a management role accepting the position of assistant product manager, Harmony accessories. With his deep knowledge of the Harmony customer base and eleven years experience in the outdoor industry, he will be critical to the success of the re-launching of Harmony.
