After almost 12 years with Osceola, Wisconsin, paddle-maker Branches/Aqua Bound, vice-president of marketing Andrew Stern is leaving his position to pursue a new opportunity and focus on family.

“I have accepted a position with an outdoor apparel company, so my last day with Branches will be Friday, January 27,” says Stern of his departure. “I am leaving Branches on great terms and feeling blessed for the successes we have accomplished together. Most of all, I will miss the people within the company and paddlesports. I thank Branches’ owners—including Jason, Brian, and Cory currently, and Ed previously—for their trust in me over the years.” Going forward, marketing duties will be held by Luanne Koubsky.

In March 2022, Bending Branches/Aqua Bound owner Ed Vater sold the company to an in-house team consisting of longtime employees Jason Eccles, Brian Boyea, and Cory Novinska. Eccles, who has been with the company for 20 years, was named the company’s new president.
