Cue the George Jetson music. SUPs are entering the world of e-power.

While companies like Bixpy are pioneering E-powered fins for Sups, SUP company Sipa is taking it a step, or stroke, further with its new eSUP, or electric SUP, with a patented Sipa-Drive electric jet motor and a Bluetooth-connected button built into the paddle for adjusting speed , turning on LED lights, and even inflating the board.

“We’re on the brink of redefining what’s possible in SUP activities with a wave of change,” says Sipa head of sales Tomo Novak. “Sipa boards is set to unveil something revolutionary in the world of stand-up paddleboarding.”

What’s next…a self-cooling e-Drink Holder?

The pioneering company, he says, is showcasing its latest line of electric SUP boards (eSUPs) at the upcoming Boot 2024 show in Duesseldorf.

Garnering the most intrigue and interest are such features as it being self-inflating with the push of a button (no more pumping it up by hand); its electric jet-powered propulsion for tooling around lakes and bays, without worrying about tide currents and wind; and its Bluetooth remote built into the paddle.

“Equipped with high efficiency electric jet motors, these boards transform the paddleboarding world with extra speed, agility and safety,” adds Novak.
