Bam Margera, star and founder of the hit MTV show “Jackass”, “Jackass, The Movie” and MTV’s “Viva La Bam” series, has been on the front of such magazines as Rolling Stone, People, Sports Illustrated, and ESPN. Now he’s also been in the front of a tandem kayak piloted by none other than Steve Fisher…

Bam recently tweeted a picture of himself in a hospital bed after running a “100-foot waterfall” in Oregon, thought to be Albiqua Falls in Marion County. Margera tweeted the picture along with the post, “Just did a 100ft tandem kayak jump with pro kayaker Steve Fisher in Oregon!” He was hospitalized in Oregon for suffering an aggravated hernia afterward.

In a video of the stunt recently appearing on YouTube, Fisher tells Margura before the plunge to, “Tuck it like you’ve never tucked it down.”

After the drop, where Fisher rolled up to find Margera swimming, Margera says, “Dude, I just shut my eyes and let it go…I didn’t see anything. It was the gnarliest thing I’ve ever done.”

Then the skateboard star promises to get revenge on Fisher, telling him, “I’m getting you back by dropping in on a vertical ramp.”

There’s no word yet on if the stunt was for painful pleasure or if Bam is working on some new reality show for MTV. For Fisher, it was a far cry from the Congo, from which he recently returned on an expedition running the biggest whitewater in the world.

Bam first broke onto the national scene as a 13 year old pro-skater known for his street style and wild antics. He then created the CKY video series, which featured skating, pranks and stunts, all filmed in his hometown of West Chester, Pa. His on-screen personality and the grassroots success of the CKY series became the platform for his Jackass series for MTV. In addition to his television and film projects, he continues to direct music videos, his show “Radio Bam” on Sirius Satellite Radio and his “Viva La Bands” CD/DVD series and tour.

At the end of an MSN story on the plunge, it quips: “Fortunately, he lived to be dumb another day.”
