Lights, camera, and a whole lotta’ action! That’s the news from NRS this summer, as the company recently wrapped up a four-part series highlighting whitewater wilderness runs in the Coast Mountain region of B.C.
In partnership with B.C. Whitewater, “Coast Mountain Chronicles” offers a visual narrative spanning three years of whitewater adventure through the seldom explored watersheds of the Pacific and Boundary Mountain Ranges in British Columbia. From the Bishop River to the Kowatua and Klinaklini, the series lets you experience these rivers through the eyes of Todd Wells and a rotating crew of expedition kayakers.
Episode 1 | The Bishop River Part I
Join Todd Wells, Eric Parker and Chris Korbulic as they attempt a descent of the Bishop River to Bute Inlet in B.C.’s remote Coast Mountains.
Episode 2 | Bishop River II
A year after losing his boat on the Bishop River, Todd returns to the committing whitewater of the remote Coast Mountains to seek redemption.
Episode 3 | Kowatua Creek
From Kowatua Creek to the Inklin River to the Taku, a group of kayakers set out to explore the stout rivers within the Taku Watershed.
Episode 4 | Klinaklini River
Will sixth time be the charm for the presumedly unrunnable Klinaklini River? With a solid crew of Class V kayakers, Todd Wells aims to try.
