We Are Werner! That’s the theme song being echoed by one of the country’s top paddle makers, as Werner unveils its We Are Werner video, highlighting the award-winning team that brings Werner paddles to life.
“Our team bringing our award-winning designs to life are a key component to our success,” says Taylor Robertson, Werner’s marketing & sales director. “We are paddlers and adventurers with decades of industry experience, and dedicated craftsmen and women who bring passion, commitment, and pride to work every single day.”

PL: Why’d you create the video?
Robertson: This project was designed to pay tribute to the people behind the paddles; our team is the key ingredient to our success. We also wanted to provide our customers with a glimpse inside our facility.
PL: How hard was it to put together?
Robertson: We had a film crew here for 4 days. Chris Korbulic and Ben Stookesberry did a fantastic job with the filming and the edit. Projects like this are time consuming especially with how busy we all are. Bringing in a film crew can be disruptive, but we chose to take a passive approach capturing our staff in their element.
PL: Is everyone pretty psyched about it?
Robertson: We threw a party here at Werner Headquarters last night to premiere the movie to our team and their families. Close to 100 people showed up to view the movie and consume plenty of beer and pizza. There were many smiling faces and cheering throughout the film.
PL: Any others in the works?
Robertson: We also completed a much-needed update to our product videos for consumers and retailers alike.
