What kind of people win our Paddling Life sweepstakes? People just like you and us, who visit the site and become…winners!

Yep, our latest sweepstakes drew in a record number of entries, with a hardworking couple from Michigan winning an Advanced Elements AirVolution inflatable kayak. And they’re putting it to quick use, taking it out on their local waters.

“My husband and I own a hardwood floor refinishing business which makes it nice to work all over and set our own schedules,” says winner Kris Mihalov. “We only started kayaking about two summers ago, but we have lived in Michigan all our lives and have some very nice lakes to explore. We love all the articles in Paddling Life and are excited to try the new kayak — but Michigan weather is already getting cold with a high of 59 today.”

“Thanks again for making me a winner!!”

The boat delivered to our winners…
