Mustang Survival, a pioneer manufacturer of lifesaving solutions since 1967 for those pushing themselves to the extremes, has released Part 6 of its Live Beyond Land video series, this episode featuring none other than kayak angler Annie Nagel getting after it.

Nagel, getting ready to nail her prey…

Mustang Survival ambassador Nagel is an accomplished competitive kayak angler who discovered the sport after a terrifying car accident changed her life. As soon as she reeled in her first rainbow trout, she was hooked for life and has pursued the sport with a passion ever since. In the video, she shares her story of how the discovery of kayak fishing helped her recover the thrill of living and her connection to nature after the car crash. It’s is her story of living beyond land.

“Live Beyond Land to me means taking adventures to find where you truly belong,” Nagel says. “I found my happy place, and luckily for me, it covers about 70% of our planet.”

The video will also be supported by a campaign to drive awareness for Mustang’s new Taku dry top and bib pants, which Nagel puts through their paces while paddling to go kayak fishing.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Annie,” says Mustang Survival content manager Laura Fergusson. “Her drive and zest for life is infectious to the Mustang Survival team and we’re honored to share her story. Annie was a perfect candidate to put the new Taku dry top and bibs to the test. Utilizing it in the most intense conditions is what the gear was made for, and of course, looking good and having fun doing it doesn’t hurt either.”
