For the second year in a row, Wilderness Systems was awarded “Boat Brand of the Year” at the annual Canoe & Kayak Paddlesports Industry Awards, which took place at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2010.

With the announcement, Wilderness Systems became the first boat brand ever to win this prestigious award two years in a row. “We are grateful to our retailers for their vote of confidence – it inspires us to do even better,” said Sue Rechner, CEO of Confluence Watersports, the parent company of Wilderness Systems.

Wilderness Systems was awarded this distinction based on surveys collected by Canoe & Kayak Magazine from 250 paddlesports specialty retailers across North America. This honor has been awarded since 1986.
