“This event is one of our most popular of the year,” says Walczynski. “It’s a great event for new rafters to learn how to rig their boats and for experienced rafters to learn new tricks. We’ll have a handful of staff rigs fully set up and several stations where folks can learn different ways to rig a variety of boat types.”
The fun rigging event lets you learn about the latest techniques in rigging for catarafts, multi-day boats, and paddle rafts. This event is tailored for new and intermediate rafters who want to expand their knowledge and skills, with stations to provide you with pro tips and tricks on how to rig your cargo gear, use straps effectively, and setup perimeter and flip lines. They also share technical tips on rigging the front and back bilge and avoiding entrapment hazards.
