Miles is a web developer and author for PaddlingLife.com, combining a passion for storytelling with deep expertise in the paddling world. His journey on the water began as a whitewater raft guide, safety kayaker, and video boater in Tahoe, CA, West Virginia, and Costa Rica. Now based in Durango, CO—one of the country’s premier whitewater hubs—he continues to stay connected to the outdoor community. When not coding or writing about paddling adventures, he is a dedicated dad of three and serve as Co-Series Director for USASA Southwest Colorado, helping to grow the next generation of snowboarders and freeskiers.
