Want to help your local waterway? MillerCoors and River Network have joined together for the second year to award $50,000 in grants to support watershed protection programs. And all you have to do is register your program online.

Organizers say that more than 10,000 people have already voted, and the contest remains a close competition to see who will win. The organization with the top vote-getting proposal will receive $25,000. The runner-up will receive $15,000 and the third place winner will receive $5,000. The remaining five finalists will each receive $1,000.

The finalists’ proposed projects focus on protecting and restoring local water resources by working with the agriculture community. Summaries of each project are available for viewing on River Network’s website. Winners will be announced at www.rivernetwork.org.

This grant competition was made possible by MillerCoors’ $75,000 donation to River Network. MillerCoors believes that with Great Beer, comes Great Responsibility
and shares our commitment to help communities understand, protect and restore rivers and their watersheds
