New Flotation Aids for Kids

Little kids don’t usually enjoy wearing their PFDs, and who can blame them? In most cases the vests are bulky and prevent active children from maintaining their freedom of mobility. Parents aren’t always satisfied either, as many of the current options won’t stay snug after a vigorous swim and will gradually sneak up over a swimmer’s head. Stearns, Inc. is on the case with the new Puddle Jumpers children-specific flotation devices.

Designed for boaters between 30 and 50 pounds, the Puddle Jumper is a light and compact design intended to support a child’s upper arms and chest while not impeding movement. Puddle Jumpers come in three different bright colors, each sporting a joyful cartoon face on the chest. The attractive devices meet the U.S. Coast Guard’s standards for buoyancy and stability, keeping kids and parents happy.
